Welcome to Merrie Dancers—the shop for everything about Shetland!
We are a small family business based in the remote Shetland Islands where we produce our ever-expanding range of luxury preserves — jams, marmalades, fresh curds, relishes, chutneys and mustards. Everything is hand-made in small batches in our own kitchen.
These products are complemented by quality foods from other local craft producers, ranging from traditional oatcakes and smoked fish to luxury chocolates hand-made on Unst—the most northerly island in the Shetland Islands.
This all forms the basis of our hampers and gift packs. These can be collected from our shop in Lerwick, delivered to an address on Shetland or we can post them for you. They are available in either high quality wicker baskets or attractive cartons. We also offer gift baskets and these too can be delivered or posted. We normally carry a large stock of all our hamper products so we can prepare and dispatch them quickly.
Finally we have a range of quality Shetland crafts and gifts in our shop and these too are available by mail-order.
